when it rains it pours.

so, Addy got pink eye. it was gross.
its better, but not gone. we are using the $73 antibiotic eye ointment in it now and its starting to work. no more redness or green gooeys.
however she does have a viral chest/nose cold thing.
and starting today, she also has a puking tummy thing. probably also viral.
her temp is steady at 101-102, not high enough for tylenol, but high enough for her to fight off all the infections.
all she wants to do is snuggle in "her" chair with her pillow, blanket, and her snuggle "penny". poor kiddo.
after the Dr visit, the meds, the ER visit (from her 105.9 fever on Saturday) and her abx ointment Rx, we are BROKE.
but i have an angel.
she left two bags of groceries on my doorstep.
and we can and will use everything that was in the bags.
another angel has offered to give us some money to help with grocery buying and bill paying.
i have NEVER accepted help like this in my life.
and its HARD to accept it.
i have ALOT of pride.
but i am accepting it. cause we really do need it.
and i am realizing just how lucky we are to have such a wonderful group of people in our lives.
as soon as we are in the position to pay it forward we will. for sure.
i am so blessed.

fetus update: almost the size of a kumquat. all its joints are formed, and working. and its head is twice the size of its body, because of the rapidly developing brain.
