6 weeks 1 day

its so hard to believe that 6 weeks ago i was holding an almost two day old baby!
she has grown so much and is so wonderful. i really couldnt have asked for a more wonderful family.
my husband works VERY hard to make sure i am able to stay at home with our girls.
Addy is a fabulous big sister and is an amazing wonderous little person.
Niamh is just so... awe inspiring. she is super fab!
she is such a good sleeper. and a good nurser too.
i am able to get as much nighttime sleep as i need, at least on Niamhs part. Addy is still the same terrible sleeper she has always been since day one.
i wonder if i am the only mom ever to have a three year old that sleeps worse at night than the 6 week old baby???
my lil chunker baby is just growing and growing so well. this morning (technically yesterday but i am still awake!) she weighed in at 11lb 8.6oz. thats over half a lb in a week! last week she was 10lb14oz. and she SHOULD be growing like this, she is eating ALL the time :) somedays i feel like an all you can eat baby buffet. but its so worth it to see my amazing little baby, who has taught me so much already, grow and develop so healthy.
i REALLY want to take the time one of these nights to sit and post her birthstory.
it was FAST, but i want to make sure i dont leave out a single detail. its all so important. from the sound of my waterbag breaking in bed, to taking last minute pictures of the belly, to transition and screaming WONDERFUL things, to Morgan catching her as she slid out of my body, to the cops showing up. lol. it all must be written about in detail. so i need the time to write it out. to give it the proper respect for the amazing process Niamh and i went through to bring her into the world.

and on a final note, here is a video i took this morning, started off taking it of Niamh while Addy played in the front room snacking on pumpkin seeds and cashews, but she couldnt be left out when it came to being on camera, so it became a very long video of both my girls. both of whom i love so much it makes my heart feel like it might just explode.

whomever first said that having a second child doesnt divide your love or the capacity for it, it multiplies it made a humongous understatement! i never knew i could love so much.
but i do. and it feels so great!
