and an update

Niamh is going to be 9 months old in two days! technically one day and 5 hours. OMG
when did this happen?!!!!

the girls have birthdays looming closer and closer.... wow, four! and one!!!! holy cows.

a friend had her baby today, this morning. third baby, first boy, first homebirth. i saw pics, he is just beautiful. their whole family is really incredible, the girls are kind bright wonderful kids, Mr B is the kindest, calmest, all around greatest guy you could meet, and Miss L, the mama, is just.... wow, no ammount of words could describe just how amazing this woman is. she floors me with her radness. sooooo BIG congratulatory shout out to them!!!!!

and in other radical news, my besty Miss R has set a date for her wedding. and, *squeel* asked me to be her maid of honor!!!!!! since i'm married, and a mama X 2 does that make me a matron of honor??? anyways, no matter the title i am soooooooo awesomely thrilled she wants me to be her right hand WOman! i heart her. our friendship is a newerish friendship, but we just click. the moment we met it was just seriously eerie how similar we are, and we just bring out the best in eachother. :) good times :)

we got a dog, who as of waking from naptime with Niamh, is missing.
she is micro chipped, and i am going to make lost dog fliers tomorrow. she is a sweet dog. black lab mixed with something. super sweet, and snuggly. but not the brightest crayon in the box. i hope she finds her way home.

Addy has started reading street signs at red lights, the other day she pipes up from the back "oh look, Subway!" i saw the sign and told her how cool and exciting it is that she knew that, then she adds "that means 'eat fresh' mom, did you know that?" lol lil stinker.
she is so much like me its scary!

Niamh is starting to really talk, so far she says apprpriately:
mama, dada, papa, gee(for doggy), book, ball, yes, yeah, and the other day my sister thought she said mango, i also heard her say "ish a ball" when i showed her a ball.
she has signs for: milk, dog, mom, up, and alldone. though not all of them are "right" they all are specific to the word they mean. she is getting about two more words a week and one sign a week. language explosion!!!!
